6. Department of Human Services Chooses Physician Health Partners to Manage Healthcare Services for the Division of Youth Corrections (DYC) and for Patients of the Colorado Mental Health Institutes in Need of Medical Care.

   The State of Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Children, Youth, and Family Services, Division of Youth Corrections (DYC) announced on April 27, 2006 that Physician Health Partners will be the new healthcare administrator for youth offenders in Colorado’s youth correctional facilities. The Department of Human Services also selected Physician Health Partners to manage healthcare services for psychiatric patients at the State’s Mental Health Institutes at Fort Logan and Pueblo who are in need of medical care outside of the Institutes.
